NFL Conference Championship Sunday is in the books. The Seahawks and Patriots are heading to the Super Bowl.

While we wait for the big game, there's plenty to watch this weekend. There’s marquee NBA action, a top draft prospect matchup, and an NHL outdoor game in Florida.

Don't miss: Lakers vs. Knicks on Sunday night. Two iconic franchises battle at MSG heading into the NBA All-Star break.

Here's your weekend preview.

LAKERS @ KNICKS | SUNDAY 7:00 PM, NBC

The stakes: Two of the NBA's most recognizable franchises play in a marquee Sunday night matchup. Both teams have nearly identical records, making this a measuring stick game heading into the All-Star break. More importantly, it's LeBron James and Luka Doncic at Madison Square Garden so they’ll want to show out in one of the NBA’s most iconic venues.

What to watch for: Can the Knicks slow down the Lakers' star duo? Doncic has delivered signature performances at MSG before, and LeBron has historically thrived here, averaging nearly 30 points per game at the Garden over his career. Watch whether the Knicks can contain two of the league's best offensive players or if the Lakers' star power is too much.

The Betting Angle: We project the Knicks to open as 3-4 point home favorites. The tight spread reflects two playoff-caliber teams. The Knicks get the edge at home, where they've played their best basketball this season.

(13) BYU @ (14) KANSAS | SATURDAY 4:30 PM, ESPN

The stakes: This ranked matchup doubles as a showcase for NBA scouts with two projected top 3 NBA draft picks facing off against each other. BYU's AJ Dybantsa and Kansas' Darryn Peterson are battling for the number one overall selection.

What to watch for: Dybantsa versus Peterson. Dybantsa dropped 43 points last week, setting a school record for most points by a freshman. Peterson has dealt with injuries and played in only 10 games this season, but this is his chance to prove he's still worthy of being the top pick.

The Betting Angle: BYU crushed Kansas 91-57 last season. Kansas plays at home where they've won over 85% of their games historically. Expect a competitive game with Kansas looking to avoid another blowout.

(3) MICHIGAN @ (7) MICHIGAN STATE | FRIDAY 8:00 PM, FOX

The stakes: Both teams are ranked in the national top 10, and this game carries huge implications in the Big Ten title race. The winner puts themselves in position to win the Big Ten. The loser faces a tougher path to a potential number one NCAA Tournament seed.

What to watch for: Michigan's elite shooting versus Michigan State's transition play and defensive pressure. The point guard battle between Michigan State's Jeremy Fears Jr. and Michigan's Elliot Cadeau will determine which team controls the pace in the rowdy Michigan State home court environment.

The Betting Angle: Michigan State opens as a +1.5 point underdog. Expect this one to be a toss up and come down to the wire.

BRUINS @ LIGHTNING | SUNDAY 6:30 PM, ESPN

The stakes: The NHL is building an ice rink inside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay (home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers). This is the first outdoor game in an open football stadium in Florida's history. The NHL has constructed a massive air-conditioned tent over the rink to protect the ice from the Florida heat leading up to game day. Given the unique setting and divisional matchup between two of the NHL's hottest teams, this will be a spectacle worth tuning into.

What to watch for: How the outdoor environment affects play. Players will need to adjust to unpredictable ice conditions and different puck bounces off the outdoor boards. For the Bruins, David Pastrnak is driving the offense after tying a franchise record with six assists in a single game earlier this season. For the Lightning, their offense is led by Nikita Kucherov who has been in dominant form lately with 21 points (6 goals and 15 assists) over his last 10 games.

The Betting Angle: We project the Lightning to be home favorites. The outdoor effect often leads to unpredictable outcomes, but the Bruins' extensive history in these outdoor games (4-1-0) makes them a dangerous underdog.
